Bed Sand Blasted.
Its In The Already Full Garage. It Was Ok
When It Was Whole But I'm Running Out Of
Places To Put All The Parts That Are Being
Removed. This Is It Starting To Get
Stripped To See How Much Work Is Needed.
Rear Chassis With Axle, Tank And Bits
And Pieces Removed And No Doubt
Lost Somewhere In The Garage
With The Interior Removed I Get A
First Look At The Floor And 27 pence
Starting To Look Closer At The Floor. Both
Inner And Outer Sills Need Replacing Along
With About An Inch Of The Floor Where It
Meets The Inners. Also At The Rear Of The
Cab Are Two Box Sections Which Are
Rotten.
This Part At The Rear Seems To Be
The Only Bit Needing Replacing On
The Rear Half Of The Chassis.

With The Drivers Side Wing Removed
I Can See That Work Is Needed On
The A Post And Panel.
The Top Of The A Post Turned Out
To Be Rotten Along With The Scuttle
(Inner, Outer And Middle).
The Roof Also Had A Hole In It.
This Is The Gutter And Rust Removed,
Hopefully I have Found All The Bad
Bits And Time To Start Repairing.
This Is The Same Repair From The

New Metal Let into Roof And The
Gutter Replaced
Bottom Of Off Side A Pillar Repaired,
Although It Looks Complicated This
Turned Out To Be An Easy Repair
Section To Make.
The Cab Support Box Sections
Were Remade Slightly Larger So
That I Could Fit Speakers Into
Them.
The Battery Tray Had To Be Removed To
Allow Repairs To Be Made To The Inner
Wing.This Is The Inner Wing Repaired And In
Primer, You Can Also See The Modified
Radiator Mounting Panel.

With The Battery Tray I Decided to Fit
It Under The Pick Up Bed, So It Was
Shortened And Brackets Fitted To
Make It A Bolt In Fitting
Under Floor Had Underseal Removed
And Primed
Back Of Cab And Rear Chassis Primed
Inside, The Main Part Of The Dash
Had To Be Removed To Allow The
Bulkhead/ Scuttle Panel Repairs.

Top 30M of The Kick Panel Whilst I
Was In The Area.
That Is The New Metal In And Welds

And On The Inside Before Fitting
The Scuttle Repair Was Primed
And The Inner Wing And Kick Panel/A Post

Whilst waiting for these panels I had
a go at a few interior jobs, sound
deadening cut and fitted

Sat the pickup bed floor on the chassis to make
room to work then decided that this might be the
best way to go about rebuilding the bed
